In 2021, several organizations partnered to host the first-ever AAPI Gun Violence Prevention conference.
Those partners included MomsRising, Chinese for Affirmative Action, Newtown Action Alliance, Hope and Heal Fund, and AAPI Victory Alliance. As a result of this conference, the AAPI Against Gun Violence Coalition was established.
